Arthur Zalmijn is a senior agronomist, specialized in the caribbean rice industry and in particular Suriname’s rice industry. He graduated and obtained both his Bachelor and Master’s degree in agricultural development. His key qualification is: Rural and Agricultural Development and Management Specialist.
He has decades of experience in consulting public and private sector and gained lots of cross-border experience in the Caribbean. He has mainly worked in projects for the government, in particular for the Ministry of Agriculture, animal husbandry and fishery and also for international organisations.
